NEW AGE EDITION SEVEN

Pyro explodes around the arena as NewAge once again hits the airwaves, live from the Manhattan Centre in New York. The building is packed to the rafters for the first edition after Last Stand, and the fans in attendance are eager to see what happens after what had been a controversial RIOT. The camera then pans around the arena, picking up the various banners, showing the IWC fanbases unique humor.  We see ‘Legion is my Father’, as well as ‘Good luck Taylando’, the final one we see ‘Frankie, I’m Pregnant’, probably raising the most eyebrows. After a final run around the arena, we focus on the Invictus banner high above the ring, and then down to the announce team of Paul Hunter and David Mackie.

Hunter: Welcome one and welcome all to NewAge, following on from what had to go down as one of the most ‘surprising’ RIOT’s in IWC History.

Mackie: You’re not kidding either; I literally had to change my shorts on several occasions.

Hunter: He isn’t joking either guys. but who can really blame him? Did anyone really think that all along Shaun and had been playing the Blacklist, Orlando and Taylor pulling the strings.

Mackie: I did, Shaun is IWC through and through, always has been, always will be. Regardless of whatever issues he and Orlando have, he was never going to side with the Blacklist. That however could turn out to be a massive mistake.

Hunter: Of course, we heard last week that Aaron Harrison had left the IWC…only for a massive U-turn and a potential law suit to suspend that thought. You have to say, I have my doubts that Harrison has finished with the Cruze brothers.

Mackie: Damn straight, especially when you consider the second massive surprise of the night, Gary Matt revealing himself as part of the Blacklist, and taking down Taylor Chase to hammer home that point.

Hunter: I believed in Gary, I just thought he was having problems. But to side with them, and then the heinous attack on his ex-wife, that’s unforgivable, and no doubt tonight there will be repercussions about those actions. But on to tonight, and our main event which will see Alana Starr and Kathryn Pearson go at it one on one, to iron out these differences they seem to be having, as well as Taylor Chase versus Cassidy Haze, another match which Haze has been begging for.

Mackie: Chase is the champion, everyone wants to prove themselves against her, and Haze could actually do it.

Hunter: Not only that we have the debut of Lucas Knight, a huge tag team match between Total War and the Black Crusade, and also much, much more. As well as the SCW board is in attendance to speak to Orlando and Frankie Paradise which can only spell trouble, Orlando claiming earlier in the month he has the means to buy out the SCW.

Mackie: No doubt to tell Frankie what an amazing job he is doing.

Hunter: An action packed night ahead.

Backstage

Taylor is seen marching back and forth in the locker room, clearly agitated about the events that took place on RIOT. As she walks past her sports bag she kicks it out the way. Unity enters through the door, a huge ovation from the crowd, Kathryn putting her hand on Taylors shoulder.

Pearson: You OK Taylor?

Taylor: Not the best Kathryn, there wasn’t a point I ever thought Gary would do that, no matter what we have been through.

Yvonne: Someone has clearly got in his head Taylor; it’s not the Gary you loved.

Taylor: I know, still doesn’t make it any easier to take.

Yvonne: You sure you want to do this tonight, you’re obviously not in the right frame of mind.

Taylor: That be as it may Ivy, I HAVE to do this tonight. I should have him on my mind a few days from the biggest day of my life. I HAVE to have closure, and I have to have it tonight.

Ringside

Hunter: The World Champion isn’t happy, and is looking for some retribution tonight.

Mackie: Not a great idea now Gary has the Blacklist by his side, this cannot end well.

Hunter: She doesn’t seem to care David…but she should you’re right. Anyway, it’s time for our first match, and possibly an opportunity for one of these teams to announce themselves as number one contenders for the Tag Team titles.

Match

SILENCE/HUSH VERSUS TOTAL WAR

After Legion winning the Last Stand Rumble, the Black Crusade saw this as an opportunity to take over the tag team division, taking on Total War, many people’s bets for the next tag team champions. But it was Total War who held the early offensive, regular tags keeping Mr Hush in the ring, Silence unable to stop their momentum. Sophie drove her knee into the head of Hush, tagging in Mark who bailed across the ring, almost spearing Hush in half. A count followed, and the match would have gone Total Wars way if it wasn’t for Silence breaking the count. Sophie and Mark remonstrated with the referee, but to no avail, the distraction allowing Hush to tag in Silence who went to war on them both, using her chest and throat thrusts to disable her opponents and almost score a pinfall on Sophie after hitting a Diving Battering Ram Head butt.

Once Silence missed a Leg Lariat however, Sophie managed to tag in Mark who immediately when for that leg, a diving forearm crashing into her thigh and then followed up with a figure four leg lock. Silence was caught in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go, only to be helped out by Hush, who caught O’Brien in the temples with a knee which almost took his head off. Hush would take control of the match hitting the Big Stinky Leg Drop which almost got the job done, Mark kicking out barely at two. Hush would make a huge mistake though with the match seemingly won, going for a Psycho Crusher but missing, Mark rolling out the way and tagging in Sophie.

In ring

Hunter: No doubt these two teams are putting on a clinic here, maybe both should be contenders?

Mackie: Hold on…what the hell?

Porno Lad sprints down the ramp with the Harem in tow, Porno pulling Mark from the apron, and smashing his face into the steel steps. Kordy leaps up on the apron and Clotheslines Silence from her position on the side, who crashes into the steel barricades. Polly, Porno and Kordy enter the ring, and beat down on Sophie and Mark who are both exhausted from their match and defence less to the onslaught.  Kordy takes out Sophie with one of the Tag titles, whilst Porno drills Mark with the other, laying them both out.

Hunter: Oh my days…what a statement here from Porno Lad

Porno and the Harem leave just as quickly as they got there, Porno grabbing a mic as he leaves, the tag titles draped over his shoulders.

Porno Lad: Sorry to inform you both, but neither of you will ever be capable of challenging for these belts. And hey, it’s simple math, if there are no teams left, there is no one who can challenge…because these bad boys are staying with me.

He shares a chuckle with Kordy as Polly looks on looking pretty much none plussed with the whole situation.

Hunter: Porno Lad determined to keep hold of those belts, no matter what.

Backstage

We see Ba’al, Rachel Foxx and Jaina Frost in the backstage area, talking about the Black Crusade.

Jaina: When are we going to do something about them, they are proving to be a real pain.

Ba’al: Everything is under control my dear, Gaunt and his minions believe they hold some kind of upper hand, but they are mistaken. Judgment on the Black Crusade will still be swift, I assure you.

Rachel: I believe you, and I trust you, but why don’t we just do it, take them out, right here, right now?

Ba’al: Because that my dear is not the plan.

Rachel: So what is the plan?

Ba’al: Quite simple Rachel, but I am glad you asked. You see, I’ve spoken to Frankie who seems to be the go to man around here, and he has authorized a little match this evening.

Jaina: Yeah, what kind of match?

Ba’al: Oh, just Legion versus me and it’s going to happen…tonight

Jaina and Rachel smirk, as a sneer forms on Ba’al face.

Ba’al: Always, always have a plan my dears. Once I defeat Legion, and make him look ordinary, the IWC will have no choice but to take away his number one contendership, and give it to me. And then, then I will destroy the champion of this cursed company and truly pass my judgment on the IWC

Porno Lad: Did you see that girls? Did you see how amazing I was out there? Those are the actions of a true champion, the actions of a man destined for greatness, a man…

Kloe: Who is becoming a right royal pain in the ass?

The crowd erupts as Porno is stopped mid boast to his Harem by Kloe Masters.

Porno Lad: Oh, hi Kloe, nice rack.

Kloe: Yeah, yeah, that doesn’t work on me, try it with Frankie.

Porno Lad: I’m not gay

Kloe: No, of course you’re not. Anyway, I’m glad I bumped into you

Porno Lad: Isn’t any woman?

Kloe: Yawn, no, I’m talking about business. See, I didn’t like what you did earlier, therefore tonight it is going to be Total War versus the Black Crusade versus Porno Lad, for those shiny Tag Team titles…oh, before I forget, if you can of course find someone to team with.

Porno turns to Kordy.

Kloe: And it can’t be any member of your little Harem.

Porno Lad: You have got to be kidding me, that isn’t in the slightest bit fair

Kloe: You know, maybe not, but you brought it all on yourself didn’t you? Oh, and Kordy, you’d better get your ass to the ring, because you’re facing Amanda Blayze…right now

Kordy: But?

Kloe: NOW!!!

Kordy runs down the corridor and towards the ring.

Ringside

Hunter: Kloe throwing her authority around here.

Mackie: Does she have any authority?

Hunter: Apparently so.

Match

KORDELIA PRICE VERSUS AMANDA BLAYZE

Two women who if you hadn’t heard of, you had now after Last Stand, set off like a tornado, the two of them using their relative strengths to try and gain the upper hand. Kordelia focused her offensive on flying from every angle of the ring, Amanda having to fend over a Missile Drop Kick from the top rope, and also a Kordy Splash which picked up a two count. It wasn’t all Kordelia though, as Amanda Blayze on occasions would ground Kordy, a matrix evasion getting her out the way of a Flying Clothesline, and then a scoop slam, followed by Bridging Fallaway slam almost picking up the victory, Kordy however showing resiliency to kick out at two.

Rather than be held down by the setback, Kordy, showing experience beyond her years, slowly started to get a foothold once more, again relying on speed, and going for a springboard Moonsault to finish off the match, Blayze caught her in midair however, hitting a devastating Power bomb, followed by another, before settling into a pin. The arena was stunned however as once again Kordy kicked out, even Blayze grabbing her again and applying a pin failing to pick up the victory. Blayze was frustrated, and showed such when she hesitated for a split second, Kordy able to hit her finisher, bouncing off the ropes with a Sit down Senton. Kordy almost got it done right there, but Blayze showed she couldn’t be couldn’t out either…kicking out just in time.

Polly and Layla then began to influence the match up, Layla getting the referees attention, whilst Polly entered the ring and took down Blayze with a Super Kick. Kordy went for the pin, but once again could only pick up a two count, the fans going absolutely ballistic at the skills showed by these two individuals. Kordy going for the Sit down Senton again, but this time Amanda scouting it and getting to her feet, catching Kordy and drilling her with a Pile Driver. Amanda goes for the pin, but again Kordy slides out, counting with a Hurricanrana.

The match continued to go back and forth, both competitors almost picking up victories along the way, but the end would come when Kordy bounced off the ropes, looking for a high cross body. Blayze ducked the move, Kordy crashing into the mat and allowing Amanda to pick her up, hooking in the Huntress Trap. Kordy flailed, but couldn’t reach the ropes, and eventually had no choice but to tap out

Backstage

Taylor Chase is seen walking towards the ring with a purpose. Her eyes seem focused; like she knows precisely what it is she needs to do

Backstage

Amanda is pictured backstage; doing stretches after her battle with Kordelia Price earlier on in the evening. She turns to face none other than Yvonne Knight who is glaring at her, her arms folded in front of her

Amanda: And what the hell’s wrong with you?

Yvonne: What’s wrong with me? You really have to ask that question?

Amanda: Well, yeah, obviously.

Yvonne: That bull you pulled at Last Stand, you really think that was respectful? I mean don’t get me wrong, I know we will never be besties, but it’s all about respect, and how can I respect someone who carries themselves like that?

Amanda stops stretching and looks Yvonne right in the eyes

Amanda: Look, believe me, I’d love to be able to say I eliminated you from the rumble, and if I could have, I would have dumped your pretty ass on the arena floor the first chance I got. But, it wasn’t me, I didn’t throw you over the ropes, nor did I use a chair to do it. No, that was all Cassidy Haze, so if you want to go glare at someone, she’s your girl.

Yvonne: That right?

Amanda: Yep, so try getting your facts right first, instead of being so judgmental

Yvonne: I want to believe you Amanda, but you’re not making it easy

Amanda shrugs, watching Yvonne as she walks away, her eyes widened as she sees Typhoid Mary

Amanda: Well, I’m the popular one today

Mary: Popularity isn’t always a good thing Amanda, especially not in these times. You should listen to me

Amanda pushes Mary back towards a wall, forearm against her throat

Amanda: I know who you are Mary, and I know what you are capable of, but NO-ONE threatens me, you hear?

Mary smiles

Mary: I’m not here to threaten; I’m here to talk, and to warn. You stay out of Dark Legacies business, and do not get involved with Alana and Kathryn. You would do well to listen

Amanda: I listen to no one, including you; now get the hell out of dressing room

Suddenly Blayze drops to one knee, attacked by an assailant wearing a hoody their face obscured. The assailant fires a knee to Amanda’s temple, dropping her to the concrete. The hood is pulled back, revealing none other than Brittany Lohan, who stands over the downed Blayze.

Brittany: I hear that people have been looking for me Amanda. Well, I’m here tonight, and I won’t be too hard to find

Backstage

Hunter: Brittany Lohan in the building tonight, and seemingly not playing games

Mackie: Blayze taken out, Yvonne not trusting Amanda, this situation is starting to escalate.

Hunter: And talking of escalating situations.

Taylor Chase’s music hits over the PA system to a rapturous ovation which intensifies still louder as the lady herself appears at the top of the ramp. She still looks troubled, and doesn’t bother with the niceties, preferring just to wave to the fans and head down the ramp.

Hunter: Taylor Chase has a lot on her mind right now, and is looking to resolve one of those things tonight by confronting her ex-husband

Mackie: But her husband to be is not in the building, and is meeting with the board, which means she is at the mercy of the Blacklist.

Hunter: She still has Unity, but your right, this may not end well

Taylor slides into the ring and gratefully takes a mic, waiting for the noise to die down before speaking.

Taylor: You know this should be one of the happiest periods of my life, finally marrying the man of my dreams, a man who truly loves me. Yet, it’s being tainted, tainted by the actions of one man and one man alone, so Gary…get out here.

Taylor stands in the middle of the ring as all eyes turn to the entrance way

Taylor: Come on Gary, I’m a busy girl, let’s end this.

Boo’s fill the arena as Mika appears at the top of the ramp, and not Gary

Taylor: Wow, Gary that look suits you…bit drag queen but, yeah nice.

Mika: Ah Sister, ever the comedian, I see why I once looked up to you.

Taylor: Once? You mean you still don’t? I’m crushed

Mika: I’m sure, anyway, Gar-Bear won’t be coming out here tonight Tay-Tay…in fact, he told me to tell you that he is done being your puppet, and living and dying by everything you say.

Taylor: Is that right?

Mika: He’s done trying to be something he obviously isn’t, the same with me. We have cut the strings that bind us, and we are happier for it.

Taylor: I’m so happy for you both, no really I am.

Mika: Good, because there is nothing you can do about it, because you won’t fight fire with fire. Gary, he has accepted the person he is, he has allowed his demons to come out, to be the person he truly is. But you, you continue to hide behind this lie, that you can somehow be a good person, this massive charade you have going with Orlando that you could be in some way happy. You refuse to see what you are, a monster, just like me, and like Gary.

Taylor: I am NOTHING like the two of you…nothing.

Mika: Oh we both know different sister. But don’t worry, you will come to grips with those demons inside, and soon, we will see the true Taylor Chase. Because I leave you with a promise Tay-Tay, the Blacklist will take their ultimate revenge against those that have turned you into something that deep down you loathe. And you won’t have too long to wait either Taylor, because it will all come to a head at Invictus.

Chase doesn’t say a word, and instead just glares at Mika, as she backs off through the curtain cackling.

Hunter: Mika making a thinly veiled threat there, and promising to show the word the true Taylor Chase

Mackie: And also, what does the Blacklist have in store for Invictus, and who for?

Video

We cut to SCW headquarters, where President Orlando Cruze is sat, dressed in casual gear refusing to wear a suit. The board of directors is going absolutely bonkers at Orlando, who sits there listening

Mr.D: I stood up for you Cruze and you repay me like this. We didn’t reinstate you to start throwing around Singapore Canes, and behave like pretty much the rest of the roster. You have to raise above all that, and that’s something you seem incapable of

Orlando: But it felt so good Olek…and you have to admit it made good television

Mr.D: That isn’t the point Orlando, you’re in charge, and you cannot do this.

Orlando just smiles, not fazed by the allegations in the slightest

Orlando: Really, you are going to bring me to task, when this Board and I say this respectfully, hired an idiot like Frankie Paradise as General Manager, knowing that he doesn’t like me and never will. And then not only that, they allowed him to fire one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster in Ashley Marie Chase without him even having to consult me first.

Mr.D: The board had their reasons for that decision, and it was done for business purposes only

Orlando: Yeah, well my actions were done for the business as well, and I don’t feel like I have anything I should answer to. It’s ridiculous I have to pander to the Board, and it seems to me that the board has some kind of hidden agenda

Sasha: I assure you Orlando, that isn’t the case.

Orlando: Well, sorry, but I find that hard to believe. Look, why I look at this is you guys are never going to be pleased with the way I run things. Hard to believe with the crap that happens in your company, however, I accept you did make an investment. However, I made an investment as well, and no matter how much you may try, you are never going to get rid of me. So, the easiest option, in fact the only option would be for me to buy you out, and you end the relationship, and I take full ownership of the IWC

The other board members nod, liking the idea, but Mr.D shakes his

Mr.D: Sorry Orlando, but that isn’t an option at the moment, and we need to find another way

Orlando: Why?

Mr.D: It’s just not an option Orlando, and that is the end of the discussion. Thank you for coming in today, it’s been most enlightening.

Sasha presses the intercom, whilst staring confused at her Father

Sasha: Can you please send Frankie Paradise in?

Backstage

The show returns with Mark Corneau stood backstage.

Mark: I’m here right now, on the verge of a massive exclusive interview with none other than Mr Gaunt, the leader of the Black Crusade. Earlier on tonight it was announced that Ba’al would face Legion one on one and…

Mark is stopped in mid flow, Katelyn Buehler stepping into shot.

Buehler: Sorry to rain on your parade Mark, but I’m afraid that match isn’t going to happen. Legion has the World Championship to focus on.

Mark looks confused, Katelyn facing the camera.

Buehler: You see, Ba’al may have taken issue with the Black Crusade, but I don’t give a damn about that. At Last Stand, Ba’al crossed the line, and tonight, he won’t be facing Legion, oh no. Tonight Ba’al will be facing me, and I’m going to show him first hand that even whores like myself can redeem themselves.

Ringside

Hunter: Is that a good move, really?

Mackie: It’s a gutsy move, but a bad choice in my opinion

Hunter: Talking of bad choices, was this one? Lyman versus Lukas Montgomery?

Mackie: Lyman has shown she can fight, but Lukas is something else.

“Enemies” by Shinedown starts to play over the crowd, bringing the lights down to a dull “shine”. As the drums pick up, strobe lights flash out atop the ramp in time with the beat. Lukas steps through the curtain and makes his way down the ramp, sliding under the bottom rope

Hunter: All business…and it seems Lukas has something to say

Lukas holds the mic to his lips and speaks

Lukas: Boys, play the recording

Video

A video begins to play showing RIOT last week, and what Lukas did to Marcus Mayfield. It shows Marcus being thrown shoulder first into the exposed turnbuckle post, and taken apart by the member of the Blacklist.

In ring

Lukas is shown laughing, loving the boos of the crowd

Lukas: And that right there that is precisely what happens when you start to get involved with a whore such as Kathryn Pearson. You take your eye of the game, and you get destroyed, just like that. I mean, why would Marcus want someone like Kathryn. Considering the baggage she brings with her, I mean; she had a kid with David Helms for fucks sake. She’s got more baggage than American airlines.

Hunter: Bit harsh.

Mackie: Lukas doesn’t give a shit Paul, just tells it like it is.

Backstage

Marcus: I’m going to kill him.

Kathryn puts a hand on his chest, holding him back.

Kathryn: Seriously Marcus, he isn’t worth the hassle.

Marcus: He cannot talk to you like that.

Kathryn: Like water off a ducks back Marcus, don’t worry about it, I don’t.

In ring

Lukas: I mean, has she even got all her tattoos spelt right? I don’t know, does she have one on the small of her back which reads ‘Exit only’ so Mayfield knows which hole to put it in? Mind you, I’m sure Kathryn loves the anal, dirty tramp. Look Mayfield hasn’t even come out here, that’s what he really thinks of her…a simple fuck and that’s all. Talking of simple, Lyman, get out here so I can work off some of this frustration.

Lukas throws the mic to one side and motions to the top of the ramp

Hunter: Wow, you think he meant that?

Mackie: Damn right he did and you fear for Lilly Lyman right now

Match

LUKAS MONTGOMERY VERSUS LILLY LYMAN

Lilly Lyman was given huge encouragement as she entered the Manhattan Centre for this match, very much the underdog against arguably the powerhouse of the Blacklist. Lyman seemed to appreciate the support, but she needed it even more when Lukas came flying out the blocks, eager to once again get his career kick started after the defeat to Taylor Chase at Last Stand. Lyman attempted to use her speed, fast punches and kicks the order of the day as she attempted to stay out of the way of Montgomery. Eventually though he caught her, and when he did he took fully advantage, nailing her with a running knee to the midsection, then as she was bent over, lifting her up and into a gut wrench power slam. He seemed genuinely aggrieved when he didn’t get the pin fall, even more so when he then hit a top rope splash into a roll up, Lyman kicking out again at two. His frustration got the better of him, as he remonstrated with the referee, before turning and going for the Quieter, Lyman ducking underneath the shot and hitting a spinning heel kick, which sent Lukas sprawling from the ring.

From this point the match became more equal, with both of them sharing the offence. At one point Lilly almost got the submission with a Sleeper Hold, Lukas only just managing to power out when the referee dropped his arm for the third time. That seemed to have the opposite effect to what Lilly intended, as it refocused Lukas, who once again used power to hit advantage, hitting a Delayed Suplex, and then whipping Lyman into the ropes, on her return pushing her into the air, and then driving his knee into her face. As Montgomery stood over her, the match won, Lyman somehow recovered, almost picking up the victory with a schoolgirl pin, before then using the turnbuckle to deliver a Hurricanrana, Lukas kicking out just before the three counts

Lyman continued to push Montgomery, picking up a couple of near falls but unable to put the Blacklist member away, and with time she began to get more frustrated, and with Montgomery down went to the top rope, looking for a Big Splash. As she does, Kordy appears at the top of the ramp, and gets Lyman’s attention by twerking, yes, twerking. She leaped, but Montgomery had it scouted, rolling out the way just in time. Montgomery however dazed got to his feet, and willed Lyman to hers, waiting for her to turn around before hitting her with the Quieter. Lyman collapsed to the floor, Montgomery hooking her leg for the three count and the victory

Ringside

Kathryn Pearson’s music hits, and she and Marcus Mayfield stand at the top of the ramp

Hunter: It’s about to pick up Mackie

Mackie: And Lukas is ready

Lukas motions for Mayfield to get in the ring, but Mayfield just stands there, eyeing him. Kathryn rubs her hands through his hair lovingly, before reaching up and planting a massive kiss on his cheek. Lukas kicks the ropes with frustration, once again demanding Mayfield come down

Hunter: Pearson and Mayfield rubbing Montgomery’s nose in it, and he looks furious. This issue between the three of them is not over, not by a long shot

Mayfield disappears through the curtain, Kathryn waving down to Montgomery as we cut to backstage

Backstage

A stretch Humvee pulls into the parking lot; cheer leaders stood both side and chanting. The window winds down and Lucas Knight appears, the girls chanting ‘Lucas’ over and over. Kloe steps into shot, opening the door for the former SCW superstar

Kloe: Pleasure to meet you Lucas, heard lots about you from Orlando

Lucas steps out of the limo and grins

Lucas: Ah, I’m sure you have.

Kloe: Really looking forwards to seeing you compete, you looked good at Last Stand.

Lucas: Believe me Kloe; you should be more concerned about what I have to say

Kloe looks confused as Lucas steps through the cheerleaders and heads towards the interior of the Manhattan Centre with Kloe following him. As they do, a car pulls into the lot, going past them and coming to a halt, Gary Matt stepping out to a chorus of boos

Hunter: Gary Matt is here, and after what he did to Taylor at RIOT, he looks ready to cause more havoc tonight

Mackie: Is he looking to take it out even more on his ex-wife? Or does he have another target in mind

Hunter: Either way, he doesn’t look in the best of moods

Mackie: Does he ever?

Hunter: I’m sure we will find out his intentions soon enough, because Taylor is sure to be seeing this.

Commercial

Backstage

The scene opens with Axl Evemore stood mic in hand, Taylor Chase pacing behind him

Axl: You join me, the newest and best IWC correspondent, here with Taylor Chase as only I am deemed special enough for such a task. Taylor, if you could stop pacing for just a moment?

Taylor glares at him but stops regardless

Taylor: Yes

Axl: Earlier, your sister…

Taylor: She is not my sister

Axl: Well actually…

Taylor: She is NOT my sister

Axl: Ok, Ok, Mika had an ominous warning for you earlier, thoughts?

Taylor: You know Axl; I was really looking forwards to ensuring that I was still world champion going into Invictus, and facing Legion with that very title on the line. I know how much of a monster Legion is, and beating him would solidify my reign as world champion. I wanted to end these issues with the Blacklist, and my ex-husband tonight, so that I couldn’t concentrate on precisely that. Now, I find myself thinking of Gary Matt, and what the Blacklist continue to do to me and my family, and I’m sick of it.

Brittany Lohan steps into view, still wearing the hoody from earlier. She pulls down the hood and stands face to face with Chase, Axl holding the microphone between them

Brittany: Been a while Taylor, in fact I don’t believe our paths have crossed since you decided that you were above me, and that there was no room for me in your new life.

Taylor: I didn’t give up on you Brittany, I would never do that. You gave up on yourself, gave up on being a human being for this monster you believed yourself to be.

Brittany: That’s an opinion

Taylor: It’s the truth, but it’s not too late Brittany, you’ve not going too far. You can still be a member of my family, my closest friend, and you, just like I did can find redemption. If it’s what you really want

Brittany shakes her head

Brittany: No Taylor, you are wrong. Just ask Alana, ask Kathryn, ask them if I can come back after what I did to them. There is no coming back for people like us, not now, not ever

Taylor: Like us?

Brittany: Yes Taylor, like us. Because if you get to Invictus, and you face Legion, you are going to need the Taylor you keep inside, you are going to need that demon. You need to embrace your inner monster just like Gary did, or else you don’t stand a chance. Think about it Taylor…you know it’s true.

Brittany pulls her hood back over her head and walks off, leaving Taylor thoughtfully stood alone.

Ringside

Hunter: Everyone seems to have an opinion for Taylor today

Mackie: And they are right. Taylor can’t be sickly sweet if she is going to get past Legion, it just won’t work.

“Break” by Three days grace hits over the PA system, and Jackson Adams appears to a chorus of boos, striding down towards the ring

Hunter: Well, it seems that Jackson has something to say, he’s been quite outspoken on social media, claiming Orlando is guilty of some kind of bias

Mackie: Well, Orlando’s wife to be is the world champion

Jackson makes his way around the ring and sits down next to Paul and David, putting on an headset

Mackie: Finally, someone with brains on the team

Hunter: Welcome Jackson, to what so we owe the pleasure.

Jackson: Quite simple Hunter, just like you

Mackie: Haha

Jackson: Galloway helped me on the last RIOT, and you know, that goes a long way with Jackson Adams. It made me realize that just maybe, not all of the newcomers to this company are pointless, and that some of them could have a say in molding this great company, regardless of the asshole in charge. Galloway showed me he had something which Brandy Danielle and Rain didn’t, and that’s respect. And respecting Jackson Adams is a good start when you come to the IWC. So, I thought I would come down and show that appreciation by being at ringside when Tyson destroys Rain

Hunter: Well, you don’t have long to wait, that match is now

Match

TYSON GALLOWAY VERSUS RAIN

After an impressive Last Stand, Tyson Galloway started the match on fire, looking to make an example of the highly experienced Rain. Much the bigger man, Tyson pressed home the early advantage, leaving Rain struggling to compete with the powerful offense of the seven foot behemoth, hitting Rain with several chops and slams, slowing Rain down. Rain almost managed to get going, reversing an Irish Whip from Tyson and sending the big man into the ropes, but Tyson retaliated with a Double A Spine buster, Rain barely kicking out. Luckily for Rain he then had the common sense to get out of dodge, and slid out of the ring just as Tyson was preparing The Prodigal Bomb

That break seemed to give Rain the rest he need, as an over confident Galloway threw Rain into the corner, and then followed it in with a Big Boot which Rain evaded, Galloway leg taking all the impact. As Galloway tried to recover, Brandy grabs his ankle, trying to trip him, instead though Tyson drags Brandy up by the hair and into the ring, the referee distracted by this. During this time Rain sets up a table at ringside, then leaps onto the apron, diving through the ropes and driving his head into the crotch of the onrushing Galloway. Rain took full advantage of this, a springboard Clothesline, and a swinging neck breaker the highlights as the giant Galloway started to look more and more vulnerable. A Tiger Feint kick with Galloway on the ropes set up a chance for Rain to hook in the figure four, which he changed to the STF, Galloway left floundering and ready to tap. But showing amazing heart and all of his strength Tyson would reach the ropes, leaving the referee no choice but to break the hold when Rain had the match won.

Rain would continue to dominate the match from this point, his high flying style too much for a dazed Tyson to handle. He caught Tyson under the chin with a Mule Kick, before heading up to the top, and leaping from that point with a double Ax-Handle. Tyson saw it coming however and caught Rain in mid-air, moving him into position and then drilling him into the mat with a power slam, into a Brain Buster. Shaking out the cobwebs, Tyson hooked the leg for the pinfall, and a huge debut victory

Ringside

Galloway slides out the ring and up the ramp, Arthur Cross putting him on the shoulders, and pointing at Jackson.

Hunter: You would have to assume that Cross is warning his client you do not trust Jackson Adams, and his intentions are hardly ever honorable

Mackie: Jackson has more honors in this little finger than most of this roster, what you talking about

Jackson and Galloway stare at each other before Galloway leaves, Jackson walking up the ramp

“Err, just one second please?”

Hunter: What the hell…Shaun Cruze, what’s he doing here?

Mackie: Looks like he is coming to the ring

Shaun slides under the bottom rope and stands across from Rain

Shaun: Sorry, Orlando can’t be here to do this himself, but it seems that you my friend, have duped the IWC universe.

Rain just shrugs his shoulders

Shaun: You’re not Eric Herrera are you?

Rain just nods

Shaun: Really…ok, let’s see for ourselves huh?

Shaun thrusts out his boot, catching ‘Rain’ under the chin with a Super Kick, rendering him unconscious.

Hunter: What a shot from Shaun, and now he’s going for the mask

Shaun tears off the mask, revealing to the world his face…which isn’t Eric Herrera

Hunter: There you have it folks in black and white…Eric Herrera was right, how about that?

Mackie: Well, hopefully that can finally be put to bed

“Taylor, hold up a minute”

Taylor turns, facing Brooklyn Smith who is busting a gut to catch up with her.

Taylor: What’s the matter Brooklyn; I really don’t have time for another lecture and Gary not knowing what he is doing

Brooklyn: No, it’s not that. I didn’t know what he was going to do Tay; I didn’t know he would go to those lengths.

Taylor: Really, I thought he made it quite clear, and now, I’m going to make sure he is quite clear on my thoughts

Brooklyn lowers her head

Brooklyn: I really am so sorry Taylor, for everything. How could you ever forgive me?

Taylor: I told you Brook, I told you the type of man he had become, and you threw it back in my face

Brooklyn: I know

Taylor: You loyalty to him was admirable, but what about your loyalty to me huh?

Brooklyn: Please Tay, I feel bad enough. Please, find it in your heart to forgive me. I was just as surprised as you that he went so far. It’s the Black…

Taylor: NO, Brook, he’s a grown man, who can make his own decisions. He wanted this, and he’s going to get it. As for me and you…I don’t know Brooklyn, I really don’t know

We cut to a local nightclub, where the bachelor party of Clarence Whitman III is in full swing. Clarence sips on a glass of something he didn’t have a clue what it was, except that it was amber, as Simon sits next to him

Simon: You having a good time Clarence?

Whitman: Splendid…absolutely splendid. I have to admit, I didn’t give you the benefit of the doubt, and I thought the absolute worst about this evening, but I have to tip my hat sir…top notch

Simon: Well, a promise is a promise Clarence, and I did promise you a tame bachelor party, so here it is

Whitman: I thank you sir, truly I do

Simon: Good, I’m glad about that, because now I have made good on that promise…it’s time for the ACTUAL bachelor party. BRING OUT THE SLUTS!!!

Whitman’s eyes widen as a bevy of hookers come from virtually every corner of the nightclub into their VIP area, and dance around Clarence, several of them pressing their groins or breasts into his bemused face. He tries to grab Simon to protest, but Simon is already walking away, cellphone to his ear.

Simon: One moment Clarence, suck on that honey or something? I have to take this call

He steps into another room where you can hardly hear the moans of the strippers or the pounding dance music

Simon: Hi Lois, how are you?

He pauses

Simon: Oh yeah, the bachelorette party is all set up and ready to go. I’ll see you at the Purple Oyster in about twenty minutes yeah…Good see you soon Lois

He hangs up and walks away, the camera turning away and to the neon sign above the bar which reads ‘Purple Oyster’

Williams Mason is sat on a massive yacht, a drink in his hand and the sun shining down on him. He is surrounded by beautiful girls, all with perfect bodies and tanned skinned

“I am William Mason, and this is a mere snippet of my life.”

Another scene opens, this time showing William in a business suit, surrounded by others around a table.

“I am successful in all walks of life, whether it is business”

This time we see him round a dinner table, a stunning film star opposite him staring into his eyes lovingly

“Or whether it is pleasure”

Another scene shows him winning match after match in an SCW ring, one particular scene showing him lifting the Adrenaline title aloft

“Or whether it is in competition, where I am one of the best wrestlers on the planet”

It cuts back to the scene on the yacht, Mason sipping from the drink

“You want to be like me don’t you; you want to be successful, to be the big man on campus. You want to have the money, the girls, the success, and you are jealous of me, William Mason, because of who I am, and what I do. But you can’t, I’m sorry, but you just can’t”

A particularly beautiful girl sits on his lounger, and runs her hand along his chest

“Because I’m William Mason, not you…and I have it all”

Yvonne Knight and Kathryn Pearson are in the Unity Locker room, Yvonne still troubled by what happened earlier with Amanda Blayze

Yvonne: She’s been playing me Kath, I know she has. How can Blayze be a person of virtues when she treats me this way?

Kathryn: I know right, I don’t understand why she can’t see how her actions look sometimes

Yvonne: I can’t believe that she is still as bad as Mika or Brittany, but she is not someone whom we should be trusting, not ever.

Kathryn: Agreed, she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing and we have to watch her.

A knock is heard at the door, and Kathryn opens it, picking up a box and smiling, reading out a note attached aloud

Kathryn: ‘Thank you for talking some sense into me. You’ll look good in this tonight MM’

Kathryn places the package on the table, staring at it

Yvonne: Go on then, get it open, dying to see what it is. You know how I get around presents

Kathryn: It better not be another singlet

She takes something out of the box and holds it up

Yvonne: A Hoody? Looks warm

Kathryn: Does, doesn’t it?

She pulls the hoody on and lifts the hood over her ears

Kathryn: It is warm…I love it

Ringside

Hunter: Is that what we are supposed to buy women now…hoodies?

Mackie: What happened to the good old days of sex toys and open crotch panties?

Hunter: Well, Kathryn seemed to like it. But now it’s time for our next match, which will see Aaron Harrison face Brooklyn Smith one on one

Mackie: Put down another victim to the Blacklist

Match

AARON HARRISON VERSUS BROOKLYN SMITH

Spotlights start to shine around the arena as “Born for This” by Paramore hits the speakers. After a few moments, the spotlights stop on the entrance ramp, on the beautiful Brooklyn Smith.

Brooklyn is dressed only in her ring gear. She smiles at the applause of the fans as she starts towards the ring, the spotlight remaining on her. On route to the ring, Smith makes contact with some of the crowd, ranging from slapping hands to talking with or signing autographs for them.

Once she reaches ringside, she grabs hold of the second rope and pulls herself up and inside the ring. She chooses a random corner, where she climbs up to the middle turnbuckle, snapping off a salute: both to the crowd and to the memory of her father, wrestling legend Jack “The Hammer” Smith. She then climbs down and does some stretches while she waits for the match to begin.

Hunter: “The fan favorite, Brooklyn Smith will soon be facing what we can easily call her most personal match to date here in the IWC. We all saw what happened at the end of Riot.”

Mackie: “An incredible moment…Brooklyn’s cousin Gary Matt turning on his ex-wife, Taylor Chase and siding with The Blacklist, of all people.”

Hunter: “Indeed. The very people Orlando Cruze hired Gary and Brooklyn to help him fight against.”

Mackie: “At least, that’s what Orlando claims.”

No lights go dim, no pyro, no smoke, nothing like that. Aaron sees that as part of a “show”, and he isn’t coming to the ring to put on a show, he’s coming to the ring to hurt someone.

“Monster” hits, and Aaron waits till the lyric begin before appearing on stage. He is wearing a burnt orange hoodie, with the hood concealing his face, black boots, black knee pads, and black trunks. He bounces back and forth on the balls of his feet for a little bit, until making a methodical walk to the the ring, paying no attention to the fans that boo him.

He’s not alone though. Walking out behind him is Mika Kozlov and Lukas Montgomery…the other two members of The Blacklist.

Arriving at the ring, Aaron slides inside, under the bottom rope. Coming to his feet, Aaron throws the hood back revealing his emotionless face. If the eyes are truly the windows to the soul, it’s appropriate then that Aaron’s eyes are empty. He takes off the hoodie revealing black elbow pads, and a tattoo across the back of his shoulders that reads “HYBRID” in flaming red/orange block letters.

Hunter: “Oh great…four on one.”

Mackie: “Is it The Blacklist’s fault Smith was too dumb to bring her own backup? Duh! This is The Blacklist! It’s always the cute ones that are so dumb.”

Hunter: “Sounds like you’re describing most of the women you’ve been with, Dave.”

Mika and Lukas remain on the floor, but Lukas does hand Aaron a microphone. Staring at Smith, Aaron speaks.

Hunter: “Oh joy, Aaron naturally has something to say.”

Aaron: “Brooklyn, Brooklyn. It seems you are all alone. No Taylor. No Unity. But most of all…no Gar-Bear.”

The crowd starts a chant of “Brooklyn” as the young woman stares back at Harrison, hatred blazing in her brown eyes.

Aaron: “You’ve lost. I don’t just mean this match…although that is only a matter of time. I’m talking about this war of yours. Tonight’s match is really redundant, don’t you think Brooky? I mean, where’s your cousin right now?”

Aaron snaps his finger as if a thought dawned on him.

Aaron: “That’s right! You pushed him away!”

Hunter: “Aaron is nothing short of a vile human being. Disgusting.”

Mackie: He does make a good point though, Paul. Brook was supposed to be Gary’s cousin, but she’s been acting more like his mother or his ex-wife.”

Hunter: “I see you are now drinking the Blacklist Kool-Aid, Dave.”

Mackie: “If it tastes like black licorice, I’ll give it a shot.”

Aaron: “If you really want to go through with this match tonight Brooky, I’ll be happy to break your pretty little neck…”

Smith has heard enough and she rushes Aaron. Aaron goes to strike the oncoming Brooklyn with the microphone, but she ducks, bouncing off of the ropes behind Harrison, coming back at himwith a boot to his hand, causing loud feedback as Aaron is forced to drop the mic. Brook punches Aaron repeatedly as the bell rings to start the match, and she rushes into the corner, smashing Aaron’s face off of the top turnbuckle. With Aaron pinned in the corner, Smith climbs to the middle turnbuckle, where she looks out to the crowd before raining down punch after punch to Aaron’s head, the crowd counting each blow.

Crowd: “One! Two! Three! Four! Five!”

Not wanting to risk a DQ, Brook hops down but then monkey flips Aaron out of the corner. Harrison is slow to rise, but when he does, Smith knocks him back to the canvas with a drop kick. Harrison’s second attempt to rise to his feet is met with a boot to his face, then an elbow drop from Brooklyn. She goes for the first cover of the match, but Aaron quickly kicks out.

Smith gets to her feet and climbs to the top turnbuckle, smartly on the opposite side of the ring from where the other two members of The Blacklist stand. As Harrison gets to his feet, Smith leaps through the air…but Aaron ducks the cross-body attempt, leaving Smith to hit the mat hard! With Mika cheerleading from the floor, Aaron catches a slowly rising Smith with a fist to the side of the head that causes her to stagger backwards into the ropes. Aaron smirks, then hits her a few more times until the referee steps in. He backs up, his hands raised in the air, but then grabs Brook by the wrist, throwing her into the ropes and drilling her with a massive spear. This time, it’s Aaron who goes for the cover and it’s Brooklyn who kicks out.

Aaron pulls Smith to her feet and continues to punish her over the next several minutes with a string of moves including a chokeslam, a body slam, a reverse neck breaker, and he finishes up with a vicious powerbomb, holding her shoulders to the mat. The referee drops for the cover, but Brooklyn somehow gets a shoulder up before the three count.

The crowd pops at Brook’s will-power and begin to chant her name again. Aaron goes to lift her by the waste as she gets to her hands and knees, but Smith manages to crawl between his legs. She quickly kips up to her feet and as Harrison turns around, she snaps off a kick to his stomach, followed by a knee to his face…a move she calls “Seeing Stars!” Harrison turns away from Smith and she bounces off of the ropes before running at him and driving him face first into the canvas with a bulldog!

With Aaron half out of it, Brooklyn looks towards the corner turnbuckles as the fans cheer in anticipation. She starts to climb the turnbuckles, but is slow due to the punishment she has taken throughout the course of this match. It’s enough time for Montgomery to have made his way around the ring. Not noticing Lukas, Brook waits as Aaron gets to his feet and turns towards her. While Smith does not notice Lukas, the referee does and shouts at The Blacklist member…and is struck in the head with an elbow from Aaron! The referee drops to the mat like a ton of bricks, leaving Brooklyn looking on surprised from the top rope. That is when Montgomery jumps up on the apron and shoves Smith to the concrete floor.

It would appear that Brooklyn landed badly on her elbow, as she cradles it to her chest. She gets no sympathy from Mika Kozlov, though, who lifts her up and tosses her inside the ring where Harrison immediately grabs her and puts her obviously injured arm behind her back before lifting her and slamming her on that arm. Smith writhes in agony on the canvas as Aaron looks down at her with a slight smirk. Surprisingly, Brooklyn attempts to get to her feet. She gets on her knees and her good right arm, but this proves to be a huge mistake as Harrison straddles her and grabs that mangled left arm behind her and begins to crank on it. Smith cries out in pain, and hangs on for several minutes…but despite her strong, fighting spirit and despite the support of the fans, she finally can’t take it any longer, tapping the canvas with her good right hand, ending the match.

With the bell sounding, Mika and Lukas enter the ring, but Aaron is not letting go on the arm, continuing to crank back on it as the crowd boos. The referee tries to intervene, but Montgomery easily dispenses of the official, throwing him over the top rope to the floor.

Hunter: “What the hell?!?! They already broke her arm! What is the purpose of this!?!”

Mackie: “Well, here comes the cavalry.”

Hunter: “Oh thank God!”

Coming down the aisle, to the relief of the entire arena are Kathryn Pearson and Yvonne Knight, armed with steel chairs. Harrison lets go of the submission hold, satisfied with the damage done and the trio bail out of the ring. They drop their chairs and check on a hurting Brooklyn Smith as EMT’s now make their way to the ring, the assailants making their way up the ramp

Hunter: “Brooklyn Smith seems to be severely injured. Possibly a fractured arm. This is absolutely horrible to watch.”

Mackie: “One has to wonder how The Maniac feels about his new family now.”

Hunter: I think we are about to find out

At the top of the ramp, Matt has a mic and lifts it to speak

Gary: Now, I am free, free from Taylor Chase, and you Brooklyn. The air, it feels warmer, the sun is shining brighter in the bluest of skies. Food, even food tastes better on my lips, now I have broken the chains and walk a free man. Cruze, Taylor, you did nothing but use my as a tool for your ego, you used my feelings to control me, to mistreat me, but no more. Taylor, you are going to feel the same powerlessness, and you are going to be forced to watch the ones you love abused, controlled and decimated. All of this is going to come to pass, all of it…and it’s all your fault

Aaron asks for the mic, and Gary nods, passing it to him

Aaron: See, it’s not over Cruze, not a chance. Gary here, he needs absolution and so do I. I know you’re probably listening somewhere Orlando, so how’s about you give us that absolution, Invictus 2014, Orlando Cruze versus the Blacklist…in the Hell in the Cell.

The crowd goes bonkers at this challenge, Matt and Harrison happy with their work, Gary showing no remorse towards Brooklyn as they leave the ring.

Hunter: What an announcement…the Blacklist have just challenged Orlando to a match at Invictus…in the Cell.

Mackie: Just Orlando, that would be a massacre

Hunter: They know Orlando, he doesn’t back down and won’t even from this challenge.

Frankie: Look, I’m sorry, truly I am. I’ve done the very best I can in a really unstable environment. If you would just give me another chance to prove myself, I’m sure I could turn the company around.

Frankie throws himself at the mercy of the board, doing his very best brown nosing to keep his job

Tomlinson: I’m afraid, Mr Paradise, your abilities to handle the company has to be taken into question. You haven’t covered…

Mr.D: Come now, we really have no need to be so hasty do we?

Tomlinson: We don’t

Mr.D: No, Frankie has done some great things since he took on the position, he’s doing ok

Sasha: Err, but what about the point Orlando brought up earlier? He cannot just fire people when he likes.

Mr.D: No, I grant you, Frankie has made some mistakes, but he has a whole world of ambition, and let’s be honest I couldn’t persuade Lucas Knight to come back to the SCW. Frankie persuaded him to go to IWC and not only that gave him a befitting welcome

Sasha: I know, but Ashley Marie…

Mr.D: Was a good decision, and showed that we need to give Frankie the benefit of the doubt. Unlike Orlando, he has shown that he at least has a head for business, and doesn’t need to use violence to get the job done.

Sasha and Tomlinson’s eyes widen, Frankie nodding his head, suddenly a lot more confident in his position

Alana Starr looks down at the contract in her hands, reading it page for page and very closely. Tabitha and Andre enter the room and stand in front of her, finally get Starr’s attention

Starr: Yes?

Tabitha: I was just wondering if you have had time to read the contract over?

Alana shakes her head seeing her ‘friend’ stood side by side with Tabitha, not believing what she is seeing

Alana: YES! I’ve read it over, and you have done an ‘adequate’ job.

Tabitha: Adequate? That contract removes all the red tape and ensures that no matter what type of stunt Frankie or Orlando tries to pull, there is nothing that can stop you facing Brittany Lohan. That is what you wanted right?

Alana: Of course it is

Tabitha: Then, the only thing we have left to do is get her to sign it

Andre: That’s not a problem, I can do that

Alana pulls the contract away from Andre’s outstretched hand

Alana: NO WAY, I’m not leaving this to chance. I am the only one who can deal with this. I am the only one capable of handling this properly. That’s the only way this is going to be.

Tabitha: But Alana…

Alana: But nothing, you had your chance to sort this out, but all I have got to show is broken promises. Adam Chase doesn’t promise anything he can’t deliver

Andre: Oh come on…

Alana: No, both of you get out; I’m not interested in anything you have to say anymore. I am no longer your concern

Andre: Alana, what’s gotten into you?

Alana: Get out Andre, before I do something that you regret

In ring

‘Alpha King’ by Rev Theory hits over the PA system and the arena goes ballistic.

Hunter: I know who this is

Mackie: One of the biggest signings in IWC history, and he is now ours

Hunter: Drink it in folks

Lucas Knight appears at the top of the ring to a huge pop from the crowd which nearly takes the roof off the arena. He pauses for a moment, nodding his head, before walking down the ramp way and climbing the steps bending under the strands

Hunter: What an ovation for Lucas Knight, bit different to the one Cruze got in SCW

Mackie: Our fans are more intelligent than that, they know the level of signing Lucas is.

Lucas smirks as he steps onto a small stage, confetti falling from the rafters and pyro exploding from the scaffolding. He cannot immediately speak; the noise levels are so loud. But eventually it dies down enough for him to lift the mic to his lips

Lucas: After all the suspense, the cryptic messages, and all the hype that surrounded my arrival, I am now here…in the Independent Wrestling Cartel. For the first time in almost a year, I return to an industry I dominated in my storied career. Some might say why come back when you have won everything, well they would be mistaken; there is always enough room to add a few more accolades. And I see no reason why one of those cannot be the coveted IWC World Heavyweight Championship. And of course, there is the unfinished business I have with a certain family before I move forwards

Another huge pop brings another smile to his face.

‘Archangel’ Two steps from Hell blasts over the speak system and Lucas turns, a little annoyed as Romeo walks down the ramp and slides straight into the ring, mic in hand. His music stops and Lucas looks him up and down

Lucas: And you are?

Romeo: Oh, clever…the only unfinished business you have around here Lucas is with me. I like my testicles, and I don’t respond well to them being abused. However, I respond even worse to someone who would try to cut past me in the line to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Simon Cagero was OWED a world title opportunity which he never got; I’m going to do everything in my power to ensure that I am the one that receives it.

Lucas: Again…And you are?

Romeo: Cute…very cute Lucas, where you been anyway? A year after taking a beating and your only just coming back.

Lucas: You wouldn’t have made it back.

Romeo: Wouldn’t have had to, I wouldn’t have had my ass handed to me by Blitzkrieg in the first place

Lucas: No, because you wouldn’t have ever been considered worthy enough to face him

Romeo: We can argue all night Lucas, pardon the pun, but the fact is, we are going to find out later tonight just who is deserving of that title opportunity…I haven’t forgotten about our match tonight

He turns to leave, talking as he does

Romeo: Which starts right now

He spins around, delivering a brutal punt to Lucas who doubles up in agony. Lucas slides out the ring, and Romeo follows, throwing Lucas into the metal barricades

Hunter: Romeo not hanging around here and taking it to Lucas Knight. When we return its Lucas, versus Romeo versus Mika…

Commercial

LUCAS KNIGHT VERSUS ROMEO VERSUS MIKA KOZLOV

This match was never going to be easy for Mika Kozlov, facing two IWC debutants, though both quite experienced. But it was Mika who kicked off proceedings on top, but only after a well-disguised shot to Romeo’s groin incapacitated him long enough for her to concentrate on Lucas. This was an ill wind however, as Lucas, showing little signs of ring rust, capitalized on his Last Stand performance by putting on a wrestling clinic. Mika found herself first hit with a Tornado DDT, which was followed up by an Exploder Suplex and a Cradle Brain buster, all of which almost ended the match, Mika only escaping thanks to Romeo’s interference.

Romeo took advantage of the element of surprise, dragging Lucas off, and hitting him with a succession of Suplexes and then a Heart Punch, rendering Lucas helpless. He couldn’t take advantage of it however as Mika spun him around and gouged his eyes, ignoring the threats of the referee and delivering a scissor kick to the side of his head. Climbing the ropes she measured for a Diving Head-butt, but Lucas cut her off, executing a Super Plex from the top, but hurting himself in the process. Romeo draped his arm over both individuals, but both of them kicked out in tandem. As Romeo went to pick up Mika, Lucas rolled Romeo into a pining combination, Romeo however kicking out at two. Lucas is then pulled off of Romeo, and hit with an Exploder DDT from Mika, who bends over Knight, shouting that she is going to do far worse to him than she did to Yvonne at Last Stand. She then bends over Lucas, but receives a Haymaker which sends her back and onto her backside

The match from that point degenerated into chaos, the Blacklist hit the ring, Lukas taking Romeo and drilling him with a power bomb in the center of the ring, whilst Aaron and Gary took care of Lucas Knight, disposing of him at ringside. As the referee called the end of the match as a no contest, Knight re-entered the ring, narrowly missing Montgomery with a steel chair, the Blacklist backing up the ramp as Romeo and Lucas Knight glared at each other.

Backstage

The scene cuts too backstage where Kloe is walking through the corridors when new signing Abigail Lindsay runs up to her

Abigail: Kloe, can I just trouble you for a moment?

Kloe: Of course Abigail, door is always open for you.

Abigail: I just wanted to say it’s an honor to finally be here. I heard so much about the IWC and now I am here, it’s clear to see why it is held in such high regard

Kloe: We try Abigail. You were someone we were looking to bring on board for a long time

Abigail: I look forwards to making an impression.

Kloe: Glad you are here, it will be nice seeing what you bring to the table, always good to have the top female talent around.

Abigail smiles and heads off in the other direction, Kloe turning to leave but faced by Cassidy Haze

Cassidy: You didn’t believe that shit did you?

Kloe: Oh, hello Cassidy, I have no reason not to

Cassidy: That’s what she wants you to believe. She has you fooled, just like she has fooled so many people in the past.

Kloe: I think I’m a good judge of character

Cassidy: You married Orlando didn’t you?

Kloe: I’ll let that slide Cassidy, but I think you should go now

Cassidy: I’m telling you now, Abigail Lindsay CANNOT be trusted, don’t say I didn’t warn you

Cassidy walks off, Kloe watching and shaking her head

Ringside

Hunter: Cassidy causing trouble again

Mackie: Just a friendly warning, she does have a point, Lindsay is related to the Lohan’s after all

Hunter: Kloe’s not stupid.

Mackie: No and neither is Abigail, and if she can fool Kloe, she can fool anyone.

Hunter: It’s time for our next match, and it’s our main event of the evening, a match that is happening due to events that have spilled out and had far reaching repercussions on the roster. It’s Alana Starr versus Kathryn Pearson

Match

ALANA STARR VERSUS KATHRYN PEARSON

Katheryn Pearson steps out to a rapturous reception from the capacity crowd. She has one her new hoody, and the hood is pulled up over her head. As she walks down to the ring however it is Brittany Lohan’s music playing

Hunter: That’s Brittany’s music…whats going on there?

Mackie: Probably some kind of production error…but whats this?

Amanda Blayze rushes out from the back and drills Kathryn with a vicious forearm to the back of her neck, sending her sprawling down the ramp. Amanda then starts to to put the boot in over and over, destroying Pearson who can’t retaliate

Hunter: What the hell is Amanda doing? She’s lost her mind

Yvonne Knight rushes out and pushes Amanda away

Yvonne: What the hell are you doing…stop

Amanda looks down, and finally see’s that it is Kathryn Pearson she is beating on, and backs up the ramp looking stunned

Amanda: I thought, it was Brittany

Yvonne: Course you did

Amanda: I did…I’m so sorry

Yvonne: I’ve had enough of you Amanda…enough is enough

Amanda and Yvonne start to brawl around the ring, Yvonne unleashing with all her frustrations. Pearson is crawling up the steel steps towards the ring apron just as Alana appears from the back. She makes her way down the ring, laughing at Yvonne and Blayze before entering, a contract in her hands. Kathryn is on her knees, still recovering, Alana bending down to her

Alana: We don’t have to do this Kathryn…are you sure you want to?

Kathryn responds with a hard shot to the jaw, but Alana responds and jerks her to her feet and snaps off a suplex before running off the ropes and hitting a Senton splash. Alana covers.)

1…Kickout!

Hunter: Only a one count…

Mackie: It’s still too early to put Pearson away.

(Alana whips Pearson into the ropes and connects with a Samoan drop. Alana with a leg drop, another, and then a third to Pearson. Alana with a standing moonsault, hooking the leg for a pin.)

1…Kickout!

Hunter: Another early pin attempt.

Mackie: Alana is clearly looking to make quick work of Pearson here tonight.

(Alana whips Pearson into the nearby corner before rushing in and nailing a Handspring elbow. Pearson staggers out of the corner when Alana connects with a Side Russian leg sweep. She pulls Pearson up and sets her up for a pump handle slam but Kathryn slips free and nails a reverse ddt as a counter.)

Hunter: Pearson may have gotten the break she needed with that reverse ddt.

Mackie: It was a great counter from Pearson but she needs to keep the momentum going.

(Pearson whips Starr into the ropes and connects with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors takedown. Pearson with a snap mare take over and then a vicious kick to the spine. Starr scrambles to her feet but Pearson drops her with a sitout jaw breaker.)

Hunter: Pearson is building up some momentum!

Mackie: This is a nice series of moves from Pearson. This is just the kind of thing that she needed to do to get an edge over Starr.

(She whips Alana into the ropes and then connects with a face breaker knee smash. Pearson hits the ropes and drops Alana with a bulldog take down. Pearson goes to the ropes and spring boards off, going for an asai moonsault, but Alana rolls out of the way, scrambling back to her feet. But Pearson lands on her feet and charges in, clotheslining Alana over the top and to the outside.)

Hunter: Alana has been taken to the outside!

Mackie: This isn’t where Alana wants to be, Hunter.

Hunter: I don’t know, Mackie. The way she was acting and fighting at Last Stand, this may be exactly where she wants to be.

Mackie: You have a point there.

(Pearson with a charging baseball slide to the outside into a head scissors takedown onto Starr.)

Hunter: Pearson isn’t going to give Alana Starr any chance to recover!

Mackie: And she shouldn’t.

(Pearson pulls Alana up to her feet and drops her with an inverted facelock neck breaker slam on the outside!)

Hunter: Ooooh! Pearson with that version of the twist of fate on the outside!

Mackie: She really is taking it to Alana Starr right now, Hunter.

(Pearson rolls Alana Starr back into the ring. Pearson steps up onto the ring apron and waits as Alana slowly pulls herself back up. Pearson then with a springboard into the ring and goes for a cross body block but Alana leaps up to her feet and counters with a dropkick to the gut of Pearson as she comes back down.)

Hunter: And Alana Starr with a brilliant counter!

Mackie: I agree, Hunter, and that’s what makes Alana Starr so dangerous. She is so good and can counter so quickly.

(Alana Starr pulls Pearson to her feet and connects with a pump handle front slam. Alana with a cover.)

1…

2…Kickout!

(Alana locks in a Mexican surfboard.)

Hunter: Now Alana Starr with a submission locked in.

Mackie: Starr is very quick and has a load of high flying moves in her arsenal but we sometimes forget that she has a very good technical wrestler and knows quite a few submissions. Moves like this Mexican Surfboard will really wear out Kathryn Pearson.

(After about forty five seconds Alana breaks the hold. Alana climbs up to the top turnbuckle and waits. Pearson slowly pulls herself up and when she does Alana leaps off the top with a hurricinrana pin…)

1…

2…Kickout!

Hunter: Only a two!

Mackie: That was quite an athletic move from Alana Starr.

(Alana pulls her back up to her feet and throws right hands and quick kicks. She then goes for a whip but Pearson reverses, sending Starr into the ropes. Alana comes back with a spinning heel kick taking down Pearson.)

Hunter: Spinning heel kick from Alana Starr!

Mackie: Just like that she maintains control over Pearson.

(Alana Starr with a Mexican arm drag, a traditional arm drag, a hip toss, and then a standing dropkick. Alana Starr hoists Pearson up onto her shoulders and connects with a fireman’s carry gut buster! She locks Pearson up in an Elevated Double Arm Chicken wing.)

Hunter: Another painful submission hold applied by Alana Starr.

Mackie: This elevated double arm chicken wing will also wear out an opponent, which is exactly what Starr is going for.

(After about thirty seconds in the hold and Pearson refusing to tap out Alana sits out, slamming Pearson face first onto the canvas. Alana points up to the top as she heads outside and then climbs to the top turnbuckle.)

Hunter: It looks like Alana is going to go high risk.

Mackie: She wants to end it right here.

(Alana leaps off the top, going for Starry-Eyed, but Pearson moves out of the way just in time and Alana hits nothing but canvas!)

Hunter: Alana went for it all and found absolutely nothing!

Mackie: That’s the thing about high risk moves, it is risk or reward, sometimes they will bite you in the ass and this time they definitely bit Alana in the ass.

(Pearson uses the ropes to pull herself up. Alana is up next. The two women meet in the center and trade rights. Alana gets the better of it, backing her up into the ropes. She goes for a whip. Alana goes for a clothesline but Pearson counters with a float over ddt!)

Hunter: Big time counter from Pearson!

Mackie: Float over DDT just knocked Alana silly!

(Pearson pulls Alana back up to her feet and whips her into the nearby corner. Pearson kicks away at her gut until Alana is slumped over in the corner. Pearson takes a running start and then dropkicks her in the face! Pearson pulls her out of the corner and covers.)

1…

2…Alana gets a foot on the bottom rope!

Hunter: Alana gets a foot on the bottom rope!

Mackie: That was smart by Alana. She could have kicked out if she had to but she didn’t bother expending the energy. She knew she was close enough to the ropes to use them. Smart wrestling.

(Pearson with a Russian leg sweep. She climbs up to the top turnbuckle and comes off with a moonsault onto Alana for a cover!)

1…

2…

…3NOOO! Alana kicks out!

Hunter: She just barely kicked out of that one, Mackie.

Mackie: Yeah, that was a close one.

(Pearson signals that the end is near.)

Hunter: Don’t talk about it, Pearson. Just do it.

Mackie: I agree. Do not give Alana too much time to catch her breath.

(Pearson finally pulls Alana up and sets her up for Cool It, Bitch but Alana counters into a spinning toe hold.)

Hunter: Nice counter from Starr!

Mackie: I knew she was taking too much time.

(Pearson fights and struggles towards the ropes. Alana keeps the hold cinched in tightly. After about thirty seconds Pearson reaches the ropes. Alana breaks the hold. She stands waiting for Pearson to get back to her feet. Alana goes for Starr Crossed but Pearson moves her head just in time.)

Hunter: Pearson just barely avoided catastrophe!

Mackie: That Starr Crossed from Alana would have ended it.

(Pearson pulls Alana up and whips her into the ropes. Pearson goes for a hip toss pile driver but Alana lands on her feet and whips Pearson into the ropes as she hits the other side. Pearson and Alana collide in the center of the ring as both women, having the same idea; connect with clotheslines to one another!)

Hunter: Pearson with a clothesline! Starr with a clothesline! Both women are down!

Mackie: This is anyone’s game here, Hunter.

Hunter: Not anymore…oh no

Brittany Lohan appears at ringside, ignoring Yvonne and Blayze and instead entering the ring. She picks Kathryn up, drilling her with the Final Solution, before doing the same to Alana

Hunter: Lohan taking charge here Mackie…

Mackie: Brittany is always in charge.

Brittany picks up the contract, before looking at Alana and sighing. She then signs her name, throwing the contract on the floor and shaking her head, before leaving.

Hunter: Brittany has signed the contracts, it’s on Dave

Mackie: And about time too.

Alana drags her battered body towards the contract, finally having the match she has craved for so long. She reaches for it, but at the last moment, Kathryn snatches it from her

Hunter: What!!!

Mackie: What’s Pearson doing?

Kathryn answers that question by signing the contract, the crowd going absolutely ballistic as Kathryn rolls out the ring, leaving with Yvonne up the ramp, Starr looking on in disbelief.

Hunter: You know what this means Mackie, at Invictus Starr doesn’t get her match, but it will be Brittany Lohan versus Kathryn Pearson…one on one

Video

Simon Cagero is now totally drunk, and is helping Clarence take another body shot off of one of the strippers. Simon disappears, and Ling and Mariah step up behind Whitman, and take his shoulders, rubbing them seductively. Clarence is simply too drunk to avoid what they are doing, and cannot help himself as he is led into a side room. We then see Simon walking down a corridor with Lois and the rest of Kittys Khristian Kollective, though Kitty herself is nowhere to be seen.

Lois: Thank you for doing this for me Simon, it was a…

She pauses as she enters the room, and see’s all the dancing strippers gyrating on tables.

Simon: Oh shit…I mean damn, I mean… this isn’t your party; this is obviously Clarence’s…my bad.

Lois: Clarence? In a place like this

Simon: Yeah, I’ll go and find him, do not move a muscle doll, I’ll sort this.

He steps away as Lois turns to one of her sisters

Lois: This is not the Clarence I know, I feel sick to my stomach in this place

One of her friends nods

Friend: So much for getting your V card punched

Simon overhears this, and steps by the side of Lois.

Simon V card, what do you mean by that?

The friend takes Simon to one side

Friend: Until Lois gets married, see cannot have sex as she took an abstinence pledge

Simon: You’re kidding right?

Friend: No, it’s set in stone. Lois has been saving herself for the right man for years now, and would never have sex with someone unless she was married.

Cagero cringes and then see’s Lois heading for the door where Clarence is currently being seduced. Simon dives between her and the door just before she is going to open it

Simon: I’m such a plum Lois…this isn’t Clarence’s party at all, it’s some US Senators or something

Lois: Really?

Simon takes her arms, and drags her towards the door, motioning for her party to follow

Simon: Come on, I’m sure we can do just fine at the local Applebees.

Lois visibly perks up as they head up the stairs

Alana: How the hell can this happen…how?

Alana is shouting and bawling in her dressing room, tipping over tables and generally making a mess. Adam Chase steps up to her with some trepidation it has to be added

Adam: I’m not one to say I told you so Miss Starr, however

Alana: I’m sick of all this crap

Adam: And so you should be, but this is what happens when you align yourself with someone like Tabitha Silverstone. She is a snake, pure and simple. Only I have the power, and the connections to ensure that you face Brittany at Invictus, not Tabitha, or anyone else for that matter. You are under my direction now Alana, and crap like what happened out there will be a thing of the past

He pulls something from his jacket pocket

Adam: I took the liberty of drawing my own contract up for this match at Invictus, and I’ll make sure Brittany signs it.

Alana: I sick of this company, these hoops I have to jump through, and all these contracts. Why can’t I just get my damn match?

Adam: Alana, I’ll take care of everything, you have nothing to worry about. You’ll get your match, I guarantee it

Alana walks away obviously still distressed, as Gavin Taylor appears behind Adam

Gavin: She on board yet?

Adam: Take time Gavin, it’s the long game I am playing here

Gavin: I thought you had charm

Adam: It’s not about charm, it’s about being persuasive, and I’m slowly tearing her away from Tabitha’s influence and away from Jordan as well. Now that she has signed with me, I can do whatever I want with her

Gavin: Good, because Andre doesn’t deserve happiness, and only pain. He’s going to learn he should never have robbed me of the spotlight at Last Stand by putting his hands on me. And has for trying to leave the Tag belt…which reminds me, I’ll see you later Adam, I have something I should attend to.

Backstage

Hunter: That situation gets more and more confusing by the second, what game is Adam Chase playing?

Mackie: An intelligent one

Hunter: Well he mentioned the Tag titles, and that match is right now, so perhaps we will get some answers there.

Match

BLACK CRUSADE VERSUS TOTAL WAR VERSUS PORNO LAD & ???
IWC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Porno Lad steps out onto the ramp, his music blaring and pyrotechnics streaming from the rafters. He makes his way down to the ring, attempting to high five some fans who pull away

Hunter: Well, Porno Lad is out here, but without the titles it seems

Mackie: And without a partner as well

Porno pauses at the commentary table, pointing at his temple.

Porno: You think I’m stupid…no way was I bringing those titles to be stolen. My titles

Hunter: He sounds like Gollum

Mackie: My precious ha ha

Porno slides into the ring, grabbing a microphone and lifting it

Porno: You know, I could defend the titles on my own, we all know that, but in the interests of standards, I give you my tag team partner…David Miller

Miller’s music hits and he walks down the ramp way, Porno still talking trash

Porno: I needed someone who had the depth of intelligence as myself, but could also keep up. David came the closest out of the candidates, so he’ll do.

Miller stops, cocking his head to one side

Porno Lad: I mean, he could show boat a little more…but

Miller puts up his hand and turns on his heels, heading towards the back and leaving Porno Lad alone.

Porno Lad: What did I say?

During this time Total War have made their way down to the ring, and now stand in their corner, the referee confused as to what the hell is going on but waiting for the Black Crusade before he can start the match. Silence and Hush emerge with their music playing, as Robert nips up onto the apron and tags himself into the match as Porno’s partner. He is only there for a few moments however, as he tags himself back out again.

Robert: We can get over our differences Mr Lad, I know we can. I can then have my belt back, and use it to repair the broken world of Mnooseville.

Silence and Hush are now in the ring, and the referee starts the match, Total War and the Black Crusade immediately resuming their brawl from earlier. Back in Porno’s corner, Gavin Taylor appears from the crowd, dragging Robert from the apron and throwing him into the steel steps, before taking his place, insisting that Porno tag him in so he can get his strap back

Hunter: Are you keeping up with this?

Mackie: I don’t have a clue what’s going on

Hunter: And neither does the referee, this is just an all-out mess

Lad is just about to make the tag when Andre Jordan runs down the ramp, taking out Gavin and then slamming his head into the steel barricades, and then demanding to know where his belt is. Gavin however has recovered, and pulls Andre off the apron and returns the favor, Andre’s skull crashing into the steel turnbuckle with as much force as he can muster. But as Gavin goes to get in the ring, he gets a shot to the ribs from TPKid who is swinging a baseball bat. Kid then leaps onto the apron and holds out his hand for the tag to Porno, but Porno backs off, not trusting Kid. With Kid not looking and the Black Crusade down, Total War drag Kid over the ropes, and decimate him with a double power bomb. The referee calls for the bell, having seen enough and calling a no contest as all our hell breaks out, with the Black Crusade, Total War, Andre, Gavin, Robert and TPKid all beating seven bells out of each other. All the while as this takes place, Porno Lad backs up the ramp way laughing his head off, and taunting towards his waist

Hunter: I don’t know what the hell just happened, but one thing is for sure, the tag scene is no less complicated, it may be even more so.

Cassidy is walking down the corridor when suddenly a hand is thrust into her chest. Cassidy looks down at it, and knocks it away, before staring into the eyes of Abigail

Cassidy: Ah Abigail

Abigail: I know what you have been saying about me Haze. Running my name through the mud and talking trash behind my back.

Cassidy: Just informing the management who they have signed is all

Abigail: You and management, yeah that works. I thought we could leave our past in the past. This is IWC, a new start for us all

Cassidy: You might have thought that Abigail, but I will never forgive you for what you did. So the best thing for you is to step aside, I have a match to attend to

Abigail stands in her way for a few moments before stepping aside, allowing Cassidy to go on her way

Ringside

Hunter: No love lost between those two, but Cassidy needs to focus. She’s been begging for an opportunity, and now she gets one

Mackie: The biggest one possible, the world champion none the less

Hunter: It’s Cassidy Haze versus the World Champion Taylor Chase non-title right after this break

Commercial

Ringside

Hunter: Here we go then folks, our penultimate match of the evening with the world champion involved, and a massive chance for Cassidy Haze to climb the ladder

Mackie: You don’t get many chances like this one Hunter.

Hunter: Both competitors are in the ring, and there’s the bell.

As the bell rings, Brittany Lohan appears at the top of the ramp, and just stares down at the ring, arms crossed

Hunter: What is she doing here?

Mackie: Watching it seems

Hunter: There must be some reason for this…surely

Backstage

Gary Matt walks the corridors of the arena, looking more than smug with himself. He turns the corner, but feels a hand on his shoulder, stopping him in his tracks. He stops and turns, to face Danny Darko.

Darko: What you up to Gary, this isn’t like you?

Gary doesn’t say a word

Darko: Joining the Blacklist, taking out your frustrations on Brooklyn, it’s not on. I know you, and you know this isn’t the right way to go about it

Still Gary seems totally non-plussed.

Darko: You listening to me Gary…you need to snap out of this.

Gary just shrugs Darko off, and continues on his way without saying a single word, Darko left shaking his head

Match

TAYLOR CHASE VERSUS CASSIDY HAZE

Taylor Chase started the match on fire, fresh from her hard fought victory at Last Stand. Cassidy Haze was never out of the match however, and although a flurry of punches had Haze backed into a corner, as Taylor stepped onto the second rope, Haze lifted her out of the corner and into an Atomic Drop, before then taking her to the floor with a Short Arm Lariat. Taylor retaliated with a nip out from a DDT attempt, bailing Cassidy across the ring with her hair, before dropping her to the mat with a Russian Leg Sweep, capitalizing with a drop toe hold. Cassidy rebounded, throwing Taylor Chase into the ropes, and then delivering a Sit down Power bomb which persuaded Cassidy to go for the pin, the World Champion kicking out at two. Cassidy then lifted Taylor to her feet, Chase responding with a kick which Cassidy caught, Chase delivering a mule kick to under Haze’s chin, picking up a two count. Chase would then deliver a Tornado DDT, and then a Tiger Suplex, both of them helping her to gain two counts, but not enough to put Haze away.

Buoyed by this, Cassidy started to use her deliberate power based offense to take it to the world champion, and on several occasions have her on the ropes. A Brain Buster suplex allowed her long enough to hit a Moonsault from the turnbuckle, which almost allowed her to get the victory, and a Crippler Crossface had Taylor struggling for the ropes, perhaps the toll of her match at Last Stand taking effect. Confidence surging through her Cassidy helped Taylor to her feet, and sensing the end was near, signaled for the Haze Effect. Luckily for Taylor she still had her wits about her, stunning Haze with a Super Kick, and then following that up with the T.K.O both women falling to the floor from exhaustion.

It is Haze that gets to her feet first, and bounces off the ropes, looking to hit Taylor with a body block. Taylor however rolls Cassidy up in a schoolboy, and picks up the victory. Taylor raises her arms in victory, but Cassidy isn’t finished and runs in with a Clothesline. Taylor moves out the way however and drills Cassidy’s head into the turnbuckle. Cassidy looks dazed, but then Taylor does it again, and again, slamming Cassidy into the steel ring post. The camera focusses on Taylor, who seems to have lost it, even going for the referee who slides out the ring and up the ramp, knowing not to interfere with this one. Taylor continues to stomp on the downed Cassidy who is actually laughing, an action which seems to bring Taylor from her trance. Taylor leaves the ring, Cassidy still laughing, Taylor heading straight to the back

Video

The camera cuts back to SCW headquarters, where Olek is walking through the lobby

Olek: Goodnight Marissa, I’ll see you in the morning

Marissa: Goodnight Mr Drachewych.

Olek whistles as he heads to the car, happy that he had the board on his side. He reaches the car and opens the door, recoiling as he sees his dashboard which is covered in photographs of his daughter Sasha. They are recent pictures of her at home in her bedroom window, and also one from in the gym working out, pictures that not just anyone could take.

Mr.D: What the hell, this can’t be happening

His phone rings, making him jump, and he pulls it out, seeing Aaron Harrison grinning at him.

Aaron: Ah, Olek, can I assume that the meetings reached a satisfactory conclusion?

Mr.D: If by that do you mean Frankie is still in a job, yeah, I saw to that, he will be fine.

Aaron: Good, that’s really good to hear. I’ve grown quite fond of Franklyn and I’d hate to see him removed from his role as advisor, almost as much as I would hate any harm to befall young Sasha.

Mr.D: You hurt her Aaron and I swear…

Aaron: Stick to the plan, and there will be no problem, and nothing will happen to your precious little daughter.

Marcus Mayfield is talking on his phone backstage as he rushes through the corridor

Marcus: I’m on my way to check on Kathryn now. I hope she looks better than she did after the attack from Blayze, and then Lohan

As he rushes he obviously isn’t looking where going, intent on getting to Pearson is. He accidently bumps into Danny Darko who was minding his business backstage, knocking him forwards and into the wall. Marcus doesn’t seem to even notice, hurrying along without even apologizing. Darko turns, watching Mayfield as he runs along, a frown forming on his face.

Ringside

Hunter: Well, we are about ready for our final match of the evening; however it seems we have an infiltrator.

Mackie: Katelyn Buehler has taken up residence

Hunter: She said she would be the one facing Ba’al tonight, and it seems she is true to her word

In ring

Katelyn is sat on a chair, mic in hand

Buehler: I said it earlier, and I say it again. I’m not going anywhere. I’m not leaving Legion to the mercy of the Coalition, ain’t happening.

Hurse steps out looking worried, and slides into the ring

Hurse: If you’re going to stand up for Legion out here, then so am I. I won’t let you do this alone.

Buehler: Steven, please. This has nothing to do with you, nothing at all. Now please, leave me alone to do this, I need to do this.

Hurse is about to protest, but changes his mind, sliding out the ring and backing up the ramp

Hurse: You sure Katelyn?

Katelyn nods

Katelyn: Watch out!!!

Hurse is so focused on Katelyn, he doesn’t see Rachel Foxx jump the barricade, and drive the Gavel to the side of Hurse’s skull, sending him sprawling. Incensed, Buehler leaps from her seat and slides out of the ring, chasing Foxx to the backstage area. As they leave static is heard, and the lights go out in the arena. When they come back on, Ba’al is kneeling in the center of the ring, microphone in hand.

Ba’al: Legion, the hour is now. It’s time for you to face your persecution, your judgment. If you want me, it’s time.

On cue, Legions music hits, the whole summoning of the number one contender to the world title taking place before our eyes. Legion and Gaunt walk down the ramp way, Ba’al watching them as they do, then as they get in the ring, he leaves it, grabbing a mic from the announce table. Legion watches him confused as Gaunt just smirks and shakes his head

Ba’al: Oh Mr Gaunt, sir…did you really believe it was going to be that easy? See, for Legions sins, he must first go through hell to reach the demon himself. So he won’t be facing me tonight, UNLESS you can get through my minions first…in a gauntlet match

Hunter: Oh damn Ba’al to high hell; he’s played them both simply to get them out here

Mackie: Genius, absolute genius.

Gaunt takes a mic, the smile never leaving his face.

Mr Gaunt: Oh dearest Ba’al, you believe yourself the ultimate schemer don’t you? Do you think me and Legion were not aware there would be some kind of trick? If this is all you could come up with, I’m disappointed young man, because all you have done is give Legion the opportunity to destroy you all in one night. So Ba’al…do your worst because we accept.

Backstage

Brittany Lohan is walking through the parking lot, thoughts of the evening’s events still running through her mind. She reaches her car, hearing a noise from afar, and turning to face it. As she does, Amanda Blayze rams her head into the bonnet of the car, and then punches her full in the face. Brittany retaliates, pushes Amanda away, and kicking her in the gut, grabbing her head and ramming it into the car door. Blayze drops to one knee, and sweeps Brittany’s leg from under her, pushing Lohan’s head back and into the concrete. Brittany rolls over, and lands a hard left and a fight

Brittany: You asked for this you bitch

Blayze blocks one of the shot and throws Lohan off, kicking Lohan in the cut, before opening the car door into her face. She is just placing Brittany head in between the door, when security arrive, pulling them apart

Brittany: You silly little girl

Amanda: I’m not done with you Lohan, not by a long shot

Ringside

Hunter: Wow…that could have gotten ugly pretty quickly

Mackie: Let them go at it. Damn you security

Hunter: It’s looks like our match is ready to get underway folks…what else can happen tonight?

Match

LEGION VERSUS THE COALITION

Legion stands in the middle of the ring as Jessica Wilde is the first to appear, dressed as Silence, she pauses at the edge of the ramp way

Hunter: The numbers game will surely be too much for Legion here, but he’s ready for war, that’s for certain.

Jessica slides into the ring, and is immediately set upon by Legion who whips her into the ropes and scoops her up, into the Misery III which is a Power Bomb into a DDT. The referee moves into position, as Legion applies the cover.

1…

2…

3…

Hunter: And there is the first one, one step towards Ba’al

Legion motions towards Ba’al and a point to him, but Ba’al shakes his head, point behind Legion where Laymon is stood dressed in a withered Mr Hush mask. Laymon lands a right, and then a left on Legion’s face backing him towards the ropes before he whips him, but Legion reverses it, Laymon’s back slamming into the corner. Legion follows it in with a Splash in the corner, Laymon staggering into the center of the ring. Legion grabs Laymon by the throat and lifts him up; dropping him into the Guiding Hand upper cut which drops Laymon to the canvas. Legion then picks him up again, and his Misery II, again applying the cover as the fans count along

1…

2…

3…

The place erupts as Legion beats his second opponent, again glaring at Ba’al. Wilde tries to get in the ring however, but Gaunt grabs her ankle and pulls her back to the outside. The distraction is enough however, as Ba’al throws a chair into the ring, and Laymon clips Legion to the back of his knee with it, and then continues to hammer the leg over and over, the shots heard around the arena.

Hunter: The dirty bastard…Laymon taking Legion down after he had been eliminated.

Mackie: And here comes the Executioner, and he’s going straight for that leg.

Executioner starts stomping on the leg over and over, wearing down the limb and then motioning for Legion to stand. When he eventually does, Executioner nearly takes his head off with a Clothesline from Hell. He then gets his leg and drags it over to the turnbuckle, slamming it into the bare steel three times, each impact bringing a howl of agony from Legion.

Hunter: It was too much, and the end is surely nigh for Legion…

Executioner picks Legion to his feet, Legion almost unable to stand. The Executioner goes to pick Legion up, but he blocks it, landing a right hand on the masked giant. A boot in the stomach to the Executioner bends him over, and Legion lifts his damaged knee into the face of Ba’al’s minion. Legion steps in and applies the Anathema Apotheosis, Executioner immediately struggling to escape. The referee moves in and holds up the Executioners arm, which drops immediately. He then does it again, the arm dropping for a second time. The referee then lifts and holds it there, dropping it soundly for the third time, and calling for the victory. The Executioner rolls out the ring, but out of nowhere Ba’al masked associate enters the ring, and starts doing a number on the injured leg, stamping down on it and injuring it still further as Jaina distracts the referee. The referee finally turns, as the masked associate quickly leave.

Hunter: This has just gotten out of hand. Who the hell was that?

Mackie: Shaun Cruze…the ultimate double swerve, watch this space

Hunter: Idiot

The place erupts again as Ba’al steps up onto the apron

Hunter: Here we go, and listen to these people. They have been waiting for this moment for a long time

Mackie: And finally, we are going to see Legion take on Ba’al one on one.

Ba’al: Hold on there sir…just one moment.

The crowd starts booing incessantly.

Ba’al: No, the rules are the rules. I clearly stated that you have to go though EVERYONE to get to me, and there are a few more individuals you need to defeat first.

Ba’al points towards the ramp, boos raining down as all four members of the Blacklist walk through the curtain

Mackie: Haha, Ba’al is a goddamn genius, he had no intention of facing Legion tonight, none.

Hunter: And this does not bode well for Legion at all

The Blacklist reach the bottom of the ramp and stand there sneering. Legion doesn’t hang around and dives through the ropes and takes all four of them down. Gaunt drags Mika away and throws her into the steel ring post as Legion picks up Lukas and drills him with rights and lefts.

Hunter: Gaunt and Legion going after the Blacklist…it’s out of control here.

Legion throws Aaron into the barricades, as Gaunt battles with Mika, only for the Executioner to ram a chair into his back, as Gary Matt holds Legion, Lukas and Aaron unloading on him. The Executioner picks Gaunt up and throws him into the ring, Jessica Wilde stomping on him, as Jaina throws punch after punch into his face. Lukas slams Legions spine into the ring, before Aaron smashes him over the head with the chair, Legion then placed in the ring as well. Legion and Gaunt are then subjected to an absolute assault in the center of the ring, the crowd roaring their disapproval.

Hunter: Gallant effort, but Gaunt and Legion are getting destroyed out her by the Blacklist and the Coalition.

Mackie: They have joined forces to take down a common enemy, and they are going precisely that

Aaron picks Legion up, and Lukas lifts him, drilling him with a sit down power bomb, as Ba’al DDT’s Gaunt, who is totally out of it. Suddenly the place erupts as Taylor Chase sprints down the ramp way, Yvonne Knight and Shaun Cruze following her and sliding into the ring, the Coalition and Blacklist pause their assault, and stand across from them.

Hunter: Such courage here, but look…this is just the calm before the storm

Ba’al steps forwards, counting how many there are of them in comparison to Yvonne, Taylor and Shaun. Taylor doesn’t care though, and concentrates on the Blacklist, daring them to make their move. Ba’al just smirks and the Coalition/Blacklist tandem advance on the three individuals who stand their ground. Just as it looks as if everything is about to kick of Lucas Knight nips over the barricade to a massive eruption of noise, sliding into the ring with a cricket bat in hand. He stands in front of the Taylor, Yvonne and Cruze and points the bat directly at Ba’al.

Hunter: Lucas Knight from nowhere, who has his own issues with the Coalition, and that evens things up a little.

Ba’al just smirks as everyone sizes each other up.

Hunter: Can you feel the atmosphere in this place?

Mackie: I think I just peed a little Paul

The electricity in the arena continues to build as they all stare at each other, until suddenly it explodes as the Blacklist and the Coalition go after the four individuals across the ring. Aaron takes Yvonne to the outside with a clothesline, the two of them brawling. Shaun nips out the ring and helps her, but Jaina and Rachael are there, doubling up on them. Lukas and Legion go at it, Gaunt even getting involved, the three of them ending up at ringside. Ba’al just watches, grinning at the break down occurring in front of him. People are fighting all around the ring, Lucas Knight helping Shaun and Yvonne, swinging the bag at anything that move. The fight continues up the ramp, as the Blacklist/Coalition tandem take control. In the ring Taylor Chase fends off Mika, drilling her with a Clothesline. Gary Matt runs in, Chase almost taking his head off with a Super Kick, which sends Gary sprawling backwards. Mika gouges at Taylor’s eyes, blinding her momentarily, long enough for Matt to drop her with a DDT.

Hunter: They did all they can, but Chase has been left alone again, and Mika looks like she is going to take full advantage.

Gary holds Taylor, restraining her as Mika fetches a steel chair from outside.

Mackie: This doesn’t bode well Paul…look at that look on Mika’s eyes.

Mika stands over a dazed Taylor, enjoying the moment to the fullest. She holds the chair aloft, till an explosion of noise distracts her, the chair ripped from her grasp by Legion.

Hunter: Legion has come back…oh my god.

Legion swings the chair into Mika’s back, Mika squealing from the pain, and quickly dropping out the ring. Matt runs towards Legion, but get a big boot in the face, which sends him over the top rope and to the outside. The Manhattan Centre erupts with noise, as Gary and Mika back up the ramp. Gaunt slides in the ring, grabbing a microphone, as Legion still holds the chair

Hunter: Uh ho…did Legion want to destroy Taylor himself?

Mackie: It certainly looks like it

Gaunt: I expected more Miss Chase, you being the World Champion, the oh so dominant Taylor Chase. And yet here you are, needing to be saved by Legion

Chase: I didn’t need your help

Gaunt: Is that right my dear…well, it certainly didn’t look that way to me, it seems to me Miss Chase that you have become weak.

Gaunt grins, his head tilted to one side, as Taylor just glares at him

Gaunt: Can I ask one favour, be a little more careful in future will you? I need you at one hundred percent for Invictus so that you can’t throw around your petty little excuses when my Legion takes away that World title, which he will. And I don’t want him to have to save you every show…not the form of a champion really…IS IT?

Taylor slides out the ring, grabbing her title from the announce table before backing up the ramp, Legion and Gaunt still glaring at her, and in particular that title.

Hunter: Huge statement from Legion right there, Leeland Gaunt even going as far as to suggest our world champion is weak

Mackie: Legion just saved her, she could have been permanently injured, and Taylor should be thanking him

Hunter: One thing for certain, things are starting to break down around here, and Taylor needs eyes in the back of her head in the run up to Invictus. We’ll see you in a weeks’ time folks for RIOT, till then goodnight.

Mackie: Night

The final scene we see is Gaunt pointing at the world title, then at Legion, making it perfectly clear where he sees the title going. Taylor just stares back at them, lifting the title aloft in an act of defiance.
